graybles. (a reference to the shorts in the Adventure Time cartoon) is the product of multi-instrumentalist producers Griffin Boucher and Evan Hedley. Their self-titled genre of “moon pop” is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the song, to the moon, from their ambitious debut record, pardon, which describes their unique vision of being the first band to play on the moon. Of course, graybles’ songs couldn’t be further from pop songs…instead, they’re deeply-personal, cinematic, time capsules. When future civilizations hear graybles’ musical experiments floating through the universe, they’ll hear the soundtrack of a generation drowning in information, boldly exploring new frontiers, and learning to breathe underwater. To the moon, graybles, to the moon.
